Utah Homeschooling Laws
Here, parents have two options: They can give notice to the school board of their individual homeschool program or they can form a private school with other homeschooling families. No qualification for teaching is set forth, but the local school board can determine ability to teach.
Reporting: Parents are required to give notice to the local school board.
Compulsory Attendance: Between the ages of 6 and 18; same daily as public schools
Required Subjects: The basic core curriculum of the public schools.
